The 🌵 🐕 will be tougher. Very organized, and they have 2 high end goalies. |

Against the Toronto Powder Puffs...
Hayes and Coots manhandled Matthews like a small child all game. Flyers will face much tougher competition soon. Hopefully they rise to the challenge. |

Both of these stmts. are true, but I am most impressed with their overall team-defense game. They have adjusted their game to minimize their weakness, which is still team speed (though they are improving in this area). Against much faster opponents, they bend a little but don't break. They moved the puck out of their end very efficiently last night.
Excellent game by Myers, not just the assists but also his decision-making |

Ghost had a huge game last night. Dominated the puck and was all over the ice.

He looked ok but he still had his share of gaffes. Like passing the puck directly to a leaf in the dzone and failing to hinder Tavares at all early in the game around the crease almost scoring
This game was really a huge Carter Hart game. Kept the game scoreless when it could’ve been at least a 2 goal leaf lead |

my god why can't people enjoy this team? they have 9 kids under 25 making big contributions including a goalie. they still have a way to go to be a cup contender but are fun to watch. it amazes me with all the but comments. every game....they won but.... |

There’s too many positives to list with this team right now. I don’t know who is not enjoying this team. |

The team will have to make a recall from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and make an LTIR move. - bmeltzer
Not that I'm advocating it, but wouldn't Chris Stewart be an option without any other roster moves? If he's not an option, why not waive him and recall a player instead of using LTIR? |

As was previously mentioned I hope it’s Andreoff. If not him then rubstov |

I expect JvR to slide up and Laughton to play center, which I would find it a bit of shame by how well Laughton is playing. We shall see. |

Really noticed that he was making a lot of the dynamic moves that he has in the past. I wonder if the switch has been flipped? Got some shots on net etc. I really hope he's turned the corner.. |

Honestly, I have been beating that drum since the end of camp. Sure he wasn't great in preseason, but once called up he's shown me enough to keep him in every game. He makes mistakes, but the ceiling on this guy is high IMO. |

I'm just questioning why they have to use LTIR. If Stewart is an option, then play him. If he's not an option, then waive him and call someone else up, unless they want to use Rubstov (they don't have enough space to swap the 2). |

I wouldn’t do that. Laughton and Hayes definitely have something going.
Can’t Pitlick play some C? I’d call up Andreoff or twar and stick him on that wing. If their cap allows this... |

Rubtsov is still out with a shoulder injury. The good news is that he is expected back before Christmas. The initial fear was it could have been a repeat of what happened last season. |

The answer to that is pretty obvious if you ask me. They need a center for the 4th line. They don't want to break up the Hayes line. |

“Stewie” isn’t any long term solution that’s why they will call up a replacement. A game or 2 then would likely be no recall......poor NAK |

I think andreoff is the best option as a stop gap center for a month for the 4th line. He didnt look awful earlier in the year |
